Buying Guide

Different styles require different amounts of hair. In this article, we’ll cover what to purchase for extended ponytails, sew-ins, and making a wig. All of our bundles weigh 100g, so the longer the hair is, the shorter the wefts are. Longer hair=less tracks, and vice versa. This guide will aide you in purchasing the right amount of bundles for your desired hairstyle. If you see a hairstyle is not listed, please suggest it via email at [email protected]

For an extended ponytail, the amount of bundles you need depends on the length of the hair but it falls between 1-2 bundles. For lengths shorter than 10-14” you can get away with 1 bundle in a slick back ponytail. For high ponytails or with lengths longer than 14”, we recommend 2 bundles. They don’t have to be the same length; one can be shorter than the original length you wanted. Your ponytail will look the same length, the second bundle simply adds fullness.

For sew-ins, the bundles typically fall between 2-6. For lengths under 14”, 2 bundles should do depending on your desired fullness. 14-20”, 2 bundles and some change should be enough, so get 3. For any lengths over 20", 3+ bundles are needed depending on the length. The size of your closure or frontal may also affect how many bundles you need, so head measurements or a talk with your hairstylist could also be helpful.

For making a wig, the recommendations are almost identical to a sew in.
